Our Foundation Bulls
Teddy Bear
Lowline Red Angus
High on Dociliity Scale, High on Marbling Scale, Crossed with Zebu Cows makes excellent Heat tolerant calves. Or crossed with Jersey or Dexter Cows for super tender steaks.

Romeo
Miniature Hereford
All of our Bulls are High on Dociliity Scale, but Romeo really takes Laid Back to new Heights. He is Calm, Cool and Collected. Unless we actually make him, he just doesn't do much running around.

X-Nex
Miniature Hereford x Zebu
X-Nex is a cross of Miniature Hereford and Zebu. He is Quite Unique in coloration. His mother is Strawbery Shortcake and his father is Zeke. You really can't tell from looking at him, and the neighbors that can't see him are convinced he sounds like a donkey. So without a DNA test no one would know his ancestry. (His full brother is for sale.)

Luke the Zangus
The Brangus breed was developed to utilize the superior traits of Angus and Brahman cattle. We have created the miniature version of this by crossing the Zebu with Lowline Angus. And Luke is our calm, cool, easy going bull, that shows what it looks like.
The Brangus is an American hybrid breed of beef cattle derived from cross-breeding of American Angus and Brahman stock. Registered animals have 5/8 Angus and 3/8 Brahman parentage. A similar hybrid breed, the Australian Brangus, was separately developed in Australia from about 1950. Wikipedia
The Brahman originated in India. The smaller version of the Brahman is the Zebu. We have bred Zebu with Lowline Angus. This cross is perfect for the climate of the Southeastern US. The Zebu brings tolerance for high temperatures and humidity as well as high insect and disease resistance.
Because we have crossed Zebu and Lowline Angus to get this miniature version of the best of two worlds, we call our cattle Zangus.
Our Cattle have been Genetically Tested for the Docility Gene.
Why would you NOT want this wonderful "Docility" gene in your herd?
If your cows are NOT trotting around constantly, that is energy they could be putting toward growing new calves. Steers that are calm, put on more weight, when they are walking, not running around the pasture. The biggest gain from the "Docility Gene" is your pasture. When Cattle are walking around instead of causing a stampede everywhere they go, their feet actually help the pasture by gently breaking up the top layer for water to penetrate the soil.
FARM VISIT BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
Miniature Cows, Bulls and Calves for Sale.
This is Not a Petting Zoo.
Please Be Aware
This is a working farm.
Animals are unpredictable.

Our Miniature Cattle are between 250 and 500 pounds. They may kick, head butt, and walk right over you. This is a dangerous place for small children. Please make plans for another adult to accompany you to supervise children while you ask questions and interact with animals. The cows, especially the younger calves are fascinated with children. They want to play. Which can become a small rodeo.
